brevard college’s application process is straightforward.
we’re looking for students who are eager to learn in small, challenging classes with a teaching philosophy that combines knowledge and action.

if you feel that your standardized test scores are not an accurate representation of your academic abilities, then apply test optional.
here's what we need to evaluate you for admission and for scholarships:
- a completed application for admission. there's no application fee.
- a copy of your high school transcript
- you may email an unofficial copy to firstname.lastname@example.org for the purpose of evaluation for admission.
- a copy of your sat or act score
the admissions office will notify you of your admissions decision and scholarship eligibility within 72-hours of your completed admissions file.
first-year applicants must complete a college preparatory curriculum that includes the following minimum course requirements (mcr):
- 4 courses in english
- 4 courses in mathematics
- 3 courses in science
- 2 courses in social science
brevard college does not require courses in foreign language in order to receive an offer of admission.
ap courses are recommended. credit is given on a course-by-course basis.
recommendations are not required. essays are not required, unless you apply for test optional admission.
ged scores are acceptable. you must, however, meet mcr stated above by submitting a partial, official high school transcript.
all offers of admission are contingent upon completion of all current coursework attempted or pending at the time an offer of admission is made. applicants who have completed college level credit hours after graduating high school must follow transfer applicant admissions policies and procedures and provide an official transcript from all institutions attended.
